onto the Summer Fringe!

After a fulfilling run, The Oresteia closed and soon after I started rehearsals on an ensemble movement-based piece for the 2008 Capitol Fringe Festival with Old Lore Theatre led by Nicholas Allen and John Milosich. The piece is called The Fiddler Ghost and is based on a faerie story from the British Isles. Our ensemble of six movers/actors and one violinist are creating the show from scratch sourced from individual ideas and group exercises and experimentation. I am eager to have a more direct hand in my work and am excited to play with such fun brave artists. We will be performing in Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Harman Center in downtown DC the last two weeks of July.
